(+) This is a pre-owned doll (originally a MIO kit) that I acquired as part of a lot containing several second-hand Pullip dolls. She has been full custom, with resculpting of the mouth and nose.
(+) The doll ( head only) has been entirely dyed by hand by me.
This is a third dexperimental attempt, made as training before offering more dolls in the future as part of a planned “Cuties Skin” line. Because of this, the doll is not perfect and reflects the limits of a this new test.
(+) There is a color difference between the faceplate and the headback, but the difference can be largely hidden with a long wig.
(+) As this is a dyed doll, it should be handled with extra care.
I tested durability by lightly scratching, marking, and putting on/removing a wig to ensure the paint does not peel. However, the surface may still be damaged by falls or by being scraped against rough surfaces.
(+) There is a small area of slightly stronger blushing underneath the neck on the headback side, as well as at the top of the head, also on the headback side. Once a wig is fitted, whether with or without bangs, these slight variations are barely noticeable.
(+) Two tiny air bubbles are trapped beneath the glossy varnish near the right corner of the mouth. They may be more or less noticeable depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions. The glossy surface may also display very slight irregularities.
(+) There are two areas where several freckles are positioned close together, which may visually create the appearance of a subtle line. One area is located on the left cheek, and the other is near the left side of the mouth. The latter may appear slightly more noticeable, as the blush is more softly blended in that area, creating a subtle contrast that makes this small cluster of freckles stand out a little more.
(+) The dress is slightly oversized for a stock Pullip body. To achieve a better fit, it has been cinched at the waist using its integrated drawstrings. Based on its proportions, it appears to have originally been designed for a YoSD-sized doll.
The price reflects both the original cost of the head and these minor imperfections. If you feel that even small flaws might bother you, I would recommend waiting for a future doll made from a head in better original condition. I prefer to be completely transparent so you know exactly what to expect ♥
